Sacramento, CA (August 10, 2005) -- Jampro Antennas / RF Systems, Inc. has been awarded a contract from PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri, the #1 television network in Indonesia, to provide multiple antenna systems for the country’s tallest broadcast structure measuring 400m / 1300’. It is the highest power UHF and FM System in Indonesia/Asia.
Jampro will provide a JUHD high power 320kw UHF panel antenna with four runs of 1400’ 6-1/8” Proline Rigid Transmission line and a RWCC Constant Impedance Combiner. The facility’s radio operation will install Jampro’s JAHD FM system including a high power circularly polarized multi-frequency FM Arrowhead Panel Antenna, a 7-port patch panel and power splitter, dual runs of 1300’ 4” transmission line and a Constant Impedance Combiner.
The JUHD UHF antenna’s proven performance, quality construction and reliability were all pivotal factors in the selection process. The JUHD antenna’s modular design can be configured to provide various azimuth and elevation patterns. By using optional beam tilt and null fill, the elevation pattern can be shaped to maximize coverage. In order to ensure many years of trouble-free service, radomes are installed to enclose and protect the panels against rain and ice.
The Jampro JAHD Arrowhead Dipole broadcast panel antenna provides pattern stability and excellent control over axial ratio. The JAHD is designed for Bands l, ll, and lll, and is easily adaptable for multi-station use. The JAHD’s rugged construction and ability to be mounted on the sides of large supporting structures make it an ideal choice for PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri.
PT Indosiar Visual Mandiri’s history with the manufacturer dates back nine years when they installed Jampro antennas during a major expansion.
