Highland Heights, KY (November 1, 2006)-- Jampro Antennas of Sacramento, California has received an order for a Jampro model JDIY 2-bay broad band FM antenna from Jeff Johnson, Chief Engineer at WNUK-FM. WNUK, the public service radio station of Northern Kentucky University, is widely known for high quality programming that has earned the station scores of national, regional, state and local awards for news and journalism.

Bob Groome, Jampro's Domestic Sales Manager announced, "Jampro is honored to be associated with one of the finest college radio programs in the country. The sheer simplicity of the JDIY design gives low-power stations like WNKU the flexibility and performance they need to put out a great signal." The sale was made through Jampro's dealer, Broadcasters General Store of Ocala, Florida.

The JDIY is a circularly polarized low power, omni-directional, wide band FM antenna from Jampro's famous "Penetrator" series. Power rated at 1,000 watts for 88 to 108 MHz, the JDIY is customer tuned on the actual tower being used. No factory tuning is done to reduce costs. The antenna features a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better. For durability, the JDIY is made of stainless steel and comes with a 7/8 inch EIA female input connector and the inner connector is silver plated brass for long life. Mounting hardware is included for 2 inch to 3.5 inch OD pipe or tower leg. WNKU broadcasts at 89.7 FM. Northern Kentucky University is a comprehensive metropolitan institution of approximately 11,500 students served by 1,200 faculty and staff on a modern campus convenient to Cincinnati, Ohio.
