Missoula, MT (January 25, 2007) – KMSO-FM, an adult music station serving the Missoula, MT market at 102.5 FM, has selected a cost-efficient JDIY antenna from Jampro Antennas, Inc. of Sacramento, California. The JDIY is the low-power, circularly polarized, wide band version of Jampro's famous series of "Penetrator" antennas, and specially designed for low-power omnidirectional broadcasters. Jampro’s JDIY has become popular among low-power stations wishing to conserve costs by performing their own antenna installations.

"With the proliferation of LPFM, the JDIY has really found its niche among low power users. It's a simple, elegant design and you can't beat the price considering the outstanding performance," commented Bob Groome, Jampro's Domestic Sales Manager.

The JDIY antenna was particularly appealing to KMSO because of its ability to provide long life and reliability during brutal Montana winters. Made of stainless steel and ruggedly constructed, the JDIY comes with a silver plated brass inner conductor and a professional EIA 7/8 inch female connector. To facilitate quick installation, hardware to mount on a 2 to 3.5 inch OD pipe or tower leg is included.

Rated at 1,000 watts for 88 to 108 MHz, two versions of the JDIY cover the entire US FM band and it features a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better.
