UHF RWED-516-U television mask filter/combiner

This versatile four-port directional filter/combining unit can be used either as a mask filter, or as a constant impedance-combining module for high power UHF broadcasting. The RWED-16-U has a cross-coupled design that accommodates adjacent channels, meets stringent filtering standards and provides constant impedance performance in adjacent channel applications as well as channel separations greater than 15 channels.

Jampro Antennas, Inc., of Sacramento announced today that the company has been awarded a contract to provide Broadcast Consultants India Ltd., (BECIL) with broadband multi-frequency FM antennas, balanced frequency combiners and RF components. The equipment is to be used as part of Phase II of the Common FM Transmission Infrastructures (CTI), a plan adopted by the Indian government to build a shared infrastructure for 240 privately owned FM radio stations across the country.

Nairobi  - Jampro Antennas, Inc., of Sacramento announced here today that the company has been awarded a contract to supply six of its "Penetrator" broadcast antennas to Citizen FM,  a privately owned station that covers Nairobi and central Kenya.   Jampro's skewed V dipole Penetrator antenna is the only US made FM antenna that has been awarded a US patent, and the most imitated antenna design. Citizen FM's six new Penetrators will join more than 6000 currently in use around the world.

KMSO-FM, an adult music station serving the Missoula, MT market at 102.5 FM, has selected a cost-efficient JDIY antenna from Jampro Antennas, Inc. of Sacramento, California. In an announcement made here today, Eddie Harrell, Corporate Chief Engineer for Archway Broadcasting Group said he was delighted with the performance of the new Jampro low-power Penetrator antenna he installed last week as auxiliary backup for KHTE-FM's main transmitter site. The Jampro JDIY-1 model was installed at 350 feet atop the tallest building in downtown Little Rock. "We fired it up and were just as happy as we could be. There was no VSWR and it performed flawlessly. Anyone could install this antenna. It was very cost efficient," said Harrell.

Radio Universal of Aguascalientes, Mexico has selected Jampro Antenna Systems / RF Systems to supply a turnkey FM high-power antenna/combining system. The dual-frequency FM installation will be based around Jampro’s JHCP-6C antenna with custom mounting brackets, RCCC-321-2.0 balanced constant impedance FM combiner, RCBC-322 FM bandpass filter, and rigid transmission line. Votionis S.A., which owns and operates Argentina's AM Radio 10 news station and the "Rock National" FM station, Mega 98.3, has turned to Jampro for a high power sidemount antenna to replace equipment that failed to meet management’s expectations for pattern coverage. Votionis S.A. selected a Jampro 97.5 MHz. When Millcreek Broadcasting needed to develop a new antenna site in Utah's Bountiful State Park, they called on Jampro Antenna / RF Systems of Sacramento, California to handle very sensitive site design and installation issues. For aesthetic reasons, the tower had to be low profile, yet had to be able to deliver eight strong FM frequencies and allow for future expansion. Jampro Antennas / RF Systems, Inc., of Sacramento CA, announced that the company supplied KHHT-FM with a Jampro JSCP FM antenna to facilitate the establishment of a new high-definition FM channel. Serving the entire Los Angles metro area at 92.3 FM, KHHT is a 50 kW station broadcasting a contemporary urban adult format. Jampro devised a cost-effective HD solution for KHHT by space-combining two sidemount antennas, that is, installing two antennas at different heights on the tower and combining the signals in space. KHHT already used a single-input Jampro JSCP-1 for analog transmission. Jampro revisited the JSCP-1 design plans and custom built a new, compatible single-input JSCP-2 antenna to permit space combining with the station’s existing Jampro. To ensure the reliability of both analog and HD signals the station installed a new HD transmitter. Space combining separate antennas also offers additional benefits including backup for the analog channel via the digital bays and no need for an external injector.

Jampro Antenna/RF Systems Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a contract from Afghanistan's Wizara-e-Mukhaberat (Ministry of Communications) for 24 of its top-mount VHF Prostar series slot antennas. The Jampro purchase is part of a national government effort to rebuild the country's television infrastructure, much of which was damaged or destroyed during the 2001 war.
