JCPD-HD - Dual input Panel

Jampro Dual Input Digital JCPD-HD FM Antenna

The JAMPRO JCPD 4-Dipole Flat Panel Antenna

JCPDThe JAMPRO JCPD antenna is a circularly polarized 4-dipole flat panel antenna system. Rugged galvanized steel construction insures many years of dependable performance in even the harshest environments. Protective lightweight radomes may be added as protection against heavy ice buildup. The JCPD antenna has proven to have excellent bandwidth, with typical VSWR of <1.10:1 or better. Many standard and custom directional patterns are available to fit any of your coverage requirements. Configured for dual inputs, analog and HD. The Dual Input Digital antenna provides isolated and separate inputs for both analog and digital transmitters.

This approach allows the digital transmitter to operate at it's target power with NO power lost in reject loads and NO power reduction caused by lossy digital injectors. By virtue of the Jampro built power distribution system, extra reliability is built into the antenna system. There is no single point failure that can take the antenna totally off the air. Over Built means reliability.

Because the system uses two separate and isolated RF paths, the antenna system is fully redundant. Except for power levels, either input could be used for either analog or digital RF. This design approach allows for easy antenna system, coax or transmitter testing. The HD Radio Antenna / I.B.O.C. compatible feeder system allows dry air or nitrogen pressurization from the input connectors through to the radiating dipoles in order to protect the antenna from damage causing moisture invasion.

The antenna drives all elements with both analog and digital signals from separate transmitter and coax systems for the ultimate in isolation and redundancy.

The antenna system is tested full size at the Jampro factory. Directional Patterns or Pattern Optimization (non DA) are available, certified full size on our expansive testing range. By measuring the system at the same size as will be used at the station, no errors of scale can creep into the project to distort the coverage pattern. Factory measured performance can easily be obtained at the station's site.
